I just visited this place for the first time, and I want to move in.It's perfectly weird, but in a way that makes you feel comfortable, not uncool.Everything was incredible. The food and drinks were amaze-balls but the biggest highlight was the service. The main person that took care of us was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, but other staff members seamless stepped in to run food, refill drinks, and run payments. I love a good restaurant, but I don't know if I've ever had a better dining experience.I can't wait to come back.

We loved where we were seated. A cozy nook and it was such a romantic date spot. The food was very good. Our favourite dish was the potatoes dauphinoise. Our food was a little slow to come out that evening and they apologized and brought us some free drinks. We hadn't even noticed it was slow as we were just enjoying the relaxed pace. Will definitely return!

Love coming here every time! Great feels and vibe for romantic night out or just casual drink night . Service is amazing and food is great! Keep in mind thursday is oyster night and every cocktails are all great!

Enjoyed our first time at Sous Sol. Great vibe with unique decor. Tried the S.S. minnow, which was a fun and great tasting drink with a marshmallow to roast. We went with the fois gras, bone marrow, bread, potatoes daphinoise, duck confit, and wild boar. All the dishes had flavors that complemented eachother and left us too stuffed for dessert. I will definitely be back. Thanks for the great dinner and experience.

Sous Sol has a really unique vibe (i.e: candles on the tables, decorations, furniture). The servers were friendly but nothing exceptional about the services. They will not check on you or your food after the food came or explain/make suggestions on the menu. We ordered quite a bit of different dishes but the highlight turned out to be the bread and butter. All the appetizers were decent, and the dessert was good. However, we were pretty disappointed with the main since they were too salty. The tenderloin was really juicy/tender/high quality but it was just too salty. However, given this amount of food/drink and the quality of their ingredients, the price is pretty good especially compared to other steakhouses in town (main reasons I gave 4 stars). I don’t think we will come back, but it’s good to try it out at least once. Our bill was about 200$/2person.

Clearly the best butter I've had since I left France a year ago. The rest was just as good, the service really perfect, you can see that the whole team is kind and attentive to everyone's needs.

The atmosphere and just the whole experience of this place is a must. Our server was very nice and very attentive with us thru out our whole time there. Food was plated really nicely and everything tasted real good. The potatoes are a must!! Definitely coming back here in summer with our pupper ☺️☺️

Such a unique restaurant with AMAZING tasting food! I recommend going here on thursdays for their $1.50 oyster night special. many dishes were ordered but my favourites were the duck leg confit and potatoes. the potatoes were something else.. so so good. Great ambiance and make sure to reserve. one of my new favourite restaurants.

I really want to write a bad review, because the responses from the owner are a-mazing, but...the meal was so wonderful, I have to speak our truth. This is a great experience in Winnipeg and a wonderful way to end our journey from Quebec to Winnipeg.
